The following may sound very weird but I can't wait for band camp. I'm real excited about the field show.The drum line is real psyched and are ready to get it going. I think that if things go good at band camp, this season is gonna kick ass. I'm sorry if I kinda freak people out about how much I'm into the show, but I've been doing this for so long I realize how much potential you guys have.The goal we all need to reach at camp is to get everyone to realize that there is strength in numbers. If you all work and co-exist as a family, the rest is cake. I'm not saying that everything will be perfect, but you will get more out of this season then you all bargained for. See you all later!

Happy 4th!

We finally got our pics back from the NAMM show. All the one's from the Dimebag tribute wall came out incredible. I'll post them soon.

As far as the drumline goes, things are looking good. The battery is now halfway through "Sing,Sing,Sing" and it is going to be awesome. I had kind of a crazy idea.I was thinking that if some of the band wants to get together on a Thursday night to do a run through of the first couple of songs we could have a mini summer get together and do it. Every one could bring a little something to drink and snack on and we could make it a pretty fun way to rehearse. Just a thought.Let me know.

What a great day! The scumbag who murdered my friend Paulette last year was found guilty of 1st degree murder with special circumstances which means he is will either get the death penalty or life without parole.I vote death!

On a lighter note, the new pit instructor comes in tomorrow. This rocks because now I can fully concentrate on the battery and the pit can finally get going. I hope if anyone in the band is reading this that you are working on the music for next year. If you are, that is great. If not, please start. I have a real good feeling about next year. The drumline is really getting good. Hope your summer is going good!

OK, I finished rewritting all of the drumline parts for the show. I'm real excited to hear the line start playing it. You will be amazed at how great they are going to be. Talent wise they are far ahead of where they were at the end of the season. I'm real proud of how hard the want to work so they can be the best they can be.

I've been spending a lot of time rewritting the show music.This is gonna be a great field show. If you guys and gals start working right now on the music.......damn! I have a lot of faith in you all. I'm not saying this to pressure you into practicing, but I think about the incredible turnaround you pulled off last year and now that you have one more year under your belt, you control the tempo of next season. Trust me, I have a great feeling about it. The drumline already knows the first part of the show. They are psyched and are ready to get it done.

       I'm gonna miss the seniors next year. even Felicia the Hun who declared war on me when I was just being sweet and innocent!  but to Felicia, Kat, Kristen, Maria, Kim, and those I'm missing, Best of luck in the future.
